Introducing the “Generative AI for Educators” Open Course for UPH Faculty Members, Teaching Assistants, and Tutors

UPH is pleased to offer the open course “Generative AI for Educators” for faculty members, teaching assistants, and tutors interested in understanding and integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology into education. This course serves as an essential first step for educators to leverage AI to enhance learning experiences, automate tasks, and make data-driven decisions within the educational environment.

This open course introduces foundational concepts in AI and Generative AI, providing insights into techniques, applications, and ethical considerations based on UNESCO’s recommendations for higher education. Participants will gain knowledge of various AI applications, such as using AI to improve accessibility in learning and create more inclusive educational environments. Additionally, the course includes training in prompt engineering, enabling educators to apply AI in innovative ways in the classroom.
